About Cuisine Couture

As a child, I enjoyed homemade meals from my grandmothers and always have been surrounded with good food. Naturally, I developed a passion for food and cooking.

My grandmothers were excellent cooks and always seemed to enjoy cooking for our large family get-togethers and holidays and I guess that somehow transferred to me!

I have spent many years cooking for family and friends, many believing that a career in food service was my "calling". Since I was about 12, I have collected recipes and cookbooks and now have quite a large collection of several hundred. I read them like most people read novels :)

I came to Boise in 2001 where I completed my professional culinary training and began my career as a Personal Chef.

I am in love with food and cooking is my passion! The poetry of contrasts, fun dishes, the discovery of new flavors; from comfort foods to fine dining experiences, I enjoy it all!

That’s my world with food! I love bringing it to life and most of all I enjoy sharing it with others.
